generous grant provides an excellent in-service opportunity |
|||
Hey Northern Nevada Teachers! In August 2006, AT & T presented the Washoe Education Foundation with a $25,000 grant to support growth in educational technology. In October 2006, the Washoe County Education Foundation was awarded a $25,000, which it gave to the Northern Nevada Writing Project to create and host five 16-hour workshops in Northern Nevada between January and May of 2007. These workshops will not only expose 100 Northern Nevada teachers to the new 6-Trait resources at the WritingFix website, but they will also help build WritingFix's new 6-Trait Resource Page: Young Adult Novels and the 6 Traits This class will be offered five times this Spring, at five different Washoe County Locations:
