Personal List-Making Prompts

This writing prompt generator was one of the first twenty-one interactive word games presented at the original WritingFix in-service sponsored by the Northern Nevada Writing Project.

Writer Instructions:

Click the button below until you find an idea for a list that you personally like.  Write the list, trying to include 5 to 10 items on your list.  Don't forget to use good adjectives and verbs in your list.

Once your list feels done, study it.  Look for those items on your list that you have strong personal connections to. Write in more detail about one, three, or more of the items.  When you write about a new item on your list, it might be a good time to start a new paragraph!

When you're done writing about the items on your list, you might need to go back and write an introduction to the entire piece.
